I am a golf professional, coach and motivator in my 10th year of teaching and at Haven Golf Course in Green Valley, Arizona. As the Director of Instruction at Haven, I teach golfers of all ages and skill levels, in a variety of formats.
I am a very proud member of both the PGA of America and the LPGA, and am one of only 180 women nationwide to be registered in both organizations. I am a recent recipient of the prestigious Acushnet/Titleist Golf Scholarship, awarded to the top graduates of the PGA's Professional Golf Management Program.
This year, I was honored to be nominated for LPGA Teacher of the Year, as well as PGA Section Teacher of the Year. Being nominated was a thrill!
I started my golf career in my late 30's, and turned professional 3 years after taking up the sport. I played collegiate-level basketball, and attended college in Washington State on a basketball and track scholarship in the late 1970's. I have played every sport invented, except soccer, and find golf to be the most challenging and intriguing of them all.
My husband Sam and I recently moved from our floating summer home in Alaska to full time residency in Arizona.
